Pastor Jason Miller
Pastor Jason has served as Senior Pastor of Dutch Cove since April 2013. In his own words, “I have been blessed to have a front row seat to see what God will do through people who, with great faith and expectation, join Jesus on mission each day.” Pastor Jason believes that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save anyone, that the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit brings real life transformation for God’s glory and our joy, and that the church must be on mission.
Pastor Jason was born in small peach farming community in the foothills of South Carolina. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Engineering from Clemson University and worked as a Professional Engineer for a little over a decade before following God’s leadership into pastoral ministry. In preparation for ministry, the Lord led Pastor Jason to earn his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in multiple capacities with the Haywood Baptist Association and the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and he is presently serving as the Second Vice President of the State Convention.
Pastor Jason enjoys exercise and the outdoors, building, Clemson football, but most of all, being with his family. Pastor Jason would tell you that his family is his first ministry. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Megan, and they have three wonderful miracles: Mollie, Caleb, and Abbey.

You can’t exhaust the wonder of the Word of God, but two verses that have had particular impact in my life are:
-John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
-Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
